MAC RIRI WOO LIPSTICK

Let's all stand up for Mac Riri Woo Lipstick, she's finally here (dancing azonto) it better be worth the hype maybe better than Ruby Woo just maybe. All I know For now is that it also has a retro matte finish just like Ruby Woo. Wondering if I got one? I'm sure you already know the answer to that... OFF COOUURRSSEE......lol. From my stand point, she's a beauty but wait for my review when it finally comes home to mama:)

I know some of you are green with envy lol but not to worry more is coming....

CONFESSION SERIES: PART 2

I CONFESS TO THE WONDERS OF MOM

Beautiful people I hope y’all been good I’m excited to introduce y’all to my new discovery I told you you’ll never have to break the bank if you stick with me, its amazing how the cheapest things around us can work wonders for us. This product I’ll say is the “HOLY GRAIL” for people with oily skin but hey! Even normal or combination skin can practice it too, no one wants their pretty makeup to slide off after a couple of hours (aint nobody  gat time for that!). So I did my research and y’all know I won’t confess to any product if I don’t try it out first, I’ll save you the suspense and get right to it *****drums roll***** introducing the MILK OF MAGNESIA!!!!

Milk of Magnesia is commonly used as laxative and antacid. Scientifically speaking, Milk of Magnesia is also known as magnesium hydroxide it is a suspension of hydrated magnesium carbonate in water (boring stuff right? I know). Moving on, like I said, you don’t need to break the bank or cross the Atlantic to get a hold of it, it’s right there in your local drugstore, it comes both in liquid and tablet form (I prefer the liquid).
MILK OF Magnesia is a great cleanser and toner, it can be used to minimize pore size and eliminate blackheads also, using it as a base (primer) under your makeup can help combat very oily skin. Now you’re wondering how to use it huh?

Step 1: shake well before use

Step 2: wash your face clean and pat dry gently, please be kind to your face it’s not by how hard you scrub even if your skin is extra oily scrubbing too hard can damage your skin.

Step 3: apply MOM to your face, nose and forehead (T-zone) by using a cotton ball, foundation brush or even your finger and dab it lightly onto your skin. Cover all oily areas well then allow to dry completely. Avoid using too much as it may dry out with white patches on your face (not a problem anyway).

Step 4: go ahead with your daily makeup routine right on top of it and you’re good to go.

PS: yes i know its fab but don’t get MOM crazy, using it too frequently can make your skin too tight and dry (ain’t nobody gat time for that either)
So ladies, please try not to make the price of MOM sky rocket in the market enjoy and stay beautiful always.

CONFESSION SERIES: PART 1

THE BEAUTY OF THE BEAUTY BLENDER

We all want our foundation to cover all our flaws but no one wants to wear a face full of pancake makeup, but getting a natural finish from our full-coverage foundation has always seemed like an elusive quest. That's why I confess to the power of the beauty blender, it ensures smooth, even coverage EVERYTIME. It's no surprise to learn that it's a favorite of pro makeup artists everywhere.

The beauty blender is the most versatile makeup tool you’ll ever own, it is washable, re-usable and recyclable. It can be used damp or dry (i personally prefer damp) it is indeed a very versatile applicator.
If you have a problem skin, the beauty blender works to cover blemishes, both top and bottom sides of the beauty blender can be used, the top pointy end can be used to work makeup into depressed areas of the face like the inner corners of the eyes and under the nose. Using a stippling and twisting motion, these feathers out the makeup’s edges and harsh lines leaving a perfect flawless finish.

How it Works
Unlike traditional sponges, the soft texture and elliptical shape of the beauty blender allows foundation to blend into the skin with a natural finish and no streaks. When saturated with water, the sponge will expand to twice its actual size, making it easy to cover your whole face and still get into all the nooks and crannies. Using the sponge damp prevents it from absorbing excess foundation, so you won't be wasting any makeup.

How to Use
Saturate your beauty blender with water and squeeze out excess. pick up small amount of foundation with the blender and apply to your skin with a tapping motion to distribute and blend in. Use the pointed end of the sponge to get into small areas around your nose and eyes.

Care
To clean your sponge, soak in warm shampooed water, allow to absorb water and keep squeezing gently to release clogged product, avoid using your finger nails so it doesn't tear then dry out on a clean surface.

There you have it go ahead and give it a try you'll be amazed I promise, stay beautiful always

SEVEN STEPS TO EYEBROW HEAVEN

Hey dolls,

So I know many of you have been impatiently waiting for any eyebrow tutorial from yours truly, as exciting as I know it will be I prefer you take notes first and understand the nitty gritty of the whole art of achieving the perfect eyebrows. Let’s get right to it shall we.......

For a beauty regime that will quickly and effortlessly transform your face and update your look, please follow these 7 steps to perfectly manicured eyebrows. It is often said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, but the eyebrows are the most expressive and can entirely change the way your face looks depending on their shape and style. Keep this major facial feature tame and manageable with these 7 steps to perfectly manicured brows to complete and polish your face’s natural beauty.

BRUSH YOUR BROWS
The first step in perfecting manicured brows is to brush your eyebrow hairs with a brow brush. A brow brush can come in form of a mascara wand or a comb style. Brush the hairs in one direction to maintain smooth and neat brows with every hair in its place. For a better sense on how your brows grow and how long your hairs are, brush your hair upwards and determine the look you want to achieve.

TIME TO TRIM & TAME
Once you’ve brushed your brows upward it’s time to trim. Trim any long and unwanted hairs with a pair of brow scissors to tame your brows and keep them from verging on unruly. Be careful not to trim your eyebrows too much as you’ll be left with short and blunt hairs that may end up leaving your brows worse for wear.

DRAW YOUR SHAPE
Typically, drawing on your eyebrows is never a good look, but this is one crucial step that can set apart good brows from great brows. Before plucking, outline your eyebrows or desired brow shape with white eyeliner pencil to serve as a guide when tweezing hairs. Follow your basic shape and natural arch to create perfectly manicured brows that suit your face.

GET TWEEZED
I hear some of you say OOOUUUCCCCHHHHHH....... I’m screaming too but it’s a pain you get used to with time. After you’ve drawn on your brows you can begin tweezing, but don’t get tweezer happy just yet. That outline you’ve drawn on is to serve as your shape guide and self reminder to not over pluck. Any hairs that grow beyond the shape you’ve outlined with your pencil should be plucked or trimmed for perfect, shapely brows.

KEEP IT NATURAL
The most important step in having and maintaining perfectly manicured brows is to work with what you naturally have. This means sticking to and following your natural arch and basic shape for the best brows. The general rule of thumb when it comes to keeping your brows natural is that brows should begin parallel to the inside corner of your eye, your natural arch should be vertical from the outer edge of yours iris and your brows should end parallel from the edge of your nose. Following this rule will help your brows to suit the dimensions of your face and keep your eyebrows natural and well groomed.

FILL IT IN
If you do happen to over pluck, don’t worry you won’t be stuck with that stunned or surprised expression....lol, as long as you can easily fix any tweezing problems with a brow pencil or powder. Brow pencils and powders not only work wonders for overdone eyebrows but also provide for overdone eyebrows but also provide the final magic touch to brows with lightly coloured or sparse hair. Although finding the perfect pencils to match your brows can be tough, it’s definitely worth it when it comes to having perfectly manicured and polished brows.

FINISHING TOUCH
For your last and final step to achieving perfectly manicured brows, it’s the finishing touches that do the trick. To create and add definition and shine try using a clear brow gel or Vaseline for ultra smooth and sexy eyebrows. If you want to add a little extra colour with the shine factor, opt for a tinted brow gel to enhance your natural brow’s beauty.

PS: No beauty regime is complete without basic brow care and these 7 steps show you how to get perfectly manicured brows with effortless ease. By working with your basic brow shape and natural arch, you can perfect manicured brows at home with simple strategies like the one above. Polish off your natural beauty by following these 7 steps to perfectly manicured brows today!

Stay beautiful always.....

MY 60 SECONDS MAKEUP ROUTINE

We all love to step out of the house looking like a million bucks but sometimes we don't have the time to go the whole 9 yards especially when it comes to the makeup aspect of it, you find yourself stuck looking for 60 seconds tips that actually work. In truth, you honestly don't need a generous application to look good, just a few quick strokes and fast makeup tips will bring your and entire outlook to life. Contrary tp popular belief, looking amazing does not require a life time in front of the mirror. Let's take a quick look at my top 6 best 60 seconds makeup tips that will have you rushing out the door in time and still look fab.

TIP 1: PRIMER
Yes I'm in a hurry but it takes only micro seconds to apply my primer, this is always my starting point (rushing or not). Using a primer on your face first before any other product, helps create a smooth surface for every other product to sit on. A good primer would correct uneven skin tone, serve as a good base, control oil on your face. Elf, benefit, smashbox, blackup, mac make good primers.

TIP 2: POWDER
Those days when i find myself in such a huge hurry and don't have time for my foundation I simply make do with my mac studio fix powder it gives me a good coverage even without my foundation on

TIP 3: BLUSH
I still have time to add a little colour to my face wearing blush enhances the features on your face also adds more life and vibrancy to your whole look. Sleek blush by 3 offers you a wide variety of blushes to choose from pop your favourite colour and and you're good to go.

TIP 4: EYEBROWS
Mmmmmmmmm.......no matter the rush i still have enough time for my brows. Your whole makeup is a complete failure if your eyebrows don't have the perfect shape that suits your own face shape. What's all the makeup for if your brows have a zigzag shape. As long as you have time for makeup please take out time to work those brows. Bushy eyebrows is a NO NO please honey cut that grass, tame does brows whatever you have to do get them in the right shape, and for my dolls with little to no eyebrows i feel your pain get a good eyebrow pencil, eyebrow kit, stencil and work those brows (more on eyebrows later). I would recommend sleek eyebrow pencil, elf brow kit, W7 eyebrow kit, and MUA eyebrow pencil.

TIP 5: EYE PENCIL
Eye pencils make your eyes pop and makes you look awake. My black sleek eye pencil does it for me all the time.

TIP 6: MASCARA
With your eye pencil on, there's really no time for eye shadow just enhance your eyes with a good mascara that's enough.

TIP 7: LIPSTICK
So i don't have time for the whole lipstick procedure i reach out for my loyal lipstick ruby woo its a vibrant red lipstick with a matte finish, I apply several layers so it stands out when it pops it actually draws the attention from every other part of your face to your lips which helps any mistakes less visible. However, you don't necessarily need the ruby woo any good red lipstick does the exact same trick. If you're not one for a red lipstick, honey simply where whatever colours you're comfortable with.

Might seem long but I get it done in 60 seconds and still look great so can you.
PS: you don't need to break the bank for these products recommended (at least not all) or search the world for them B&P will give you the hook up ***wink***.
Stay beautiful always......
